Host
families
We have a great network of warm, welcoming,
middle class host families interested in
sharing perspectives with CULTURE XPLORERS
travelers from around the world. Travelers
will have a private bedroom and some English
will be spoken by at least one member of
the host family.
For
several nights during the trip (usually
4 or 5) this is an option for those
who seek to delve deeper into the
culture. This experience is highly
recommended and is often one of the
highlights for travelers.
However, a comfortable hotel
will always be available for those who desire more privacy during their stay.

Sharing time - and
conversations - with locals
Getting a fresh, authentic perspective
is as easy as taking some time to
stop and listen. We will create opportunities
to have tea or to sit down with locals
in a natural context.
Our trip leader will encourage
interaction between our travelers and the people of the communities we visit. It is
fascinating to hear their unique perspectives
on life and shows respect and interest on
our part towards our hosts.
