Sochil
A doctoral student at the U. of Texas Austin, now in Chiapa de Corzo researching and writing her thesis.  We spoke in Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas during the San Sebastian festival -- this is her third year at the festival.

CX: What is your favorite part of the festival of San Sebastian?
Sochil: "Being part of, involved in and among these people, there is definitely a feeling of energy. Dancing with the 'parachicos' there's energy. It's amazing. This community is particularly characterized by
having very open arms and by being very warm".
