We are very lucky to count one of Rio most well-known folk artists amongst our trip leaders in Southern Brazil. Fabio’s knowledge extends far beyond his own country’s borders. Before working with CULTURE XPLORERS, Fabio led groups of Brazilians traveling throughout Central and Eastern Europe.

He has found the perfect balance between painting, fixing his ranch in the interior near Tiradentes and welcoming our groups to Rio de Janeiro and above all Santa Teresa, his favorite neighborhood.

With 15 years of experience as a tour guide and occasional bodyguard for famous musicians, Marcelo is never short on great stories - ask him about Prince! However, his passion for sharing his country’s culture does not stop with the jet set.
